Animals and Birds

Since the earliest times, animals have been the subject of art, especially in societies which worshipped them. Humankind has also tamed animals to make them work, or to keep them as pets. Themes include 'man's best friend', man and beast, creatures of fantasy and fiction, domestic and wild animals, exotic and ordinary birds.
